Two years ago, we found a Red Roadmaster tricycle at a garage sale for $5. Since that day, we've waited for Maya's legs to grow long enough to ride it. Today . . . that day came.
After an afternoon of training with mommy, Maya confidently demonstrated her riding ability to daddy this evening. Specifically, she showed off technique for mounting the trike and demonstrated numerous tricycling skills.
Eager to impress her daddy, she performed a "big circle" turn, which led to her first wipe-out. She handled the wipe-out like a champ, and awaits another day of trike riding tomorrow.
